Weekday Campus Tours
Weekday campus tours are:
- 90-minute walking tours
- Offered weekdays at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Led by Lion Ambassadors, current students who share their individual experiences about East Texas A&M and provide information that will help you make your college decision.
Advanced registration is required. After you schedule your visit, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details, including directions to campus and parking information.

Visitor Parking
If you plan to visit the McDowell Administration building, you can park for 30 minutes in front of the building. If you can stay longer, go by the cashier’s window just inside the front entrance of the McDowell Administration building for a complimentary visitor’s permit.
Texas Senate Bill 11 permits concealed carry of firearms in East Texas A&M University buildings only to persons who have been issued and are in possession of a Texas license-to-carry permit. Pursuant to pc 46.035 and East Texas A&M rule 34.06.02.r1, permit holders may not carry in restricted locations. Please observe the temporary building and venue signage to comply with state law.
